15. Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve
Established in the year 1987, Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve is the only legalized hunting site in Nepal. Hunting of some species of animals is allowed after paying fees and obtaining permission from the reserve to hunt in the area.
14. Janakpur
Janakpur is the administrative and capital city of the Mithila federal state of Nepal and is one of the historical and religious cities of Nepal being the birthplace of Hindu goddesses Sita( also known as Janaki). Janakpur is also the administrative headquarters of Dhanusa district. The janaki temple is the main attraction for the tourists including Hindus devoteed from India and neighbouring country.

13.Kathmandu valley
Kathmandu valley covers Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts. There are many great historic monuments and museums inside Kathmandu valley including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar square and Patan durbar square. Thamel is a more of a tourist area where more tourists are found than the Nepalese in thamel. There are many other shrines and buildings built by Ranas and Mall kings in medieval period.

Located at Manang district, it is the lake that lies in the highest altitude ( with an altitude of 4919 metres(16,138 feet) from the sea level). It can be a really revitalizing experience trekking around tilicho lake. It is very demanding and adventurous. Recommended only for the real adventurers(the gutsy ones).

11. Rara Lake
Rara taal is the biggest lake of Nepal, which lies at an altitude of 2,990 m above sea level and covers an area of 10.8 square kilometers. The lake is surrounded by Rara National Park on all sides, the park was established in 1976 to preserve the beauty of the lake and protect the unique floral and faunal importance of the rare and vulnerable species found around the lake. The trek to Rara has been a popular destination for many trekkers, with a very rough route in the western part of Nepal. The trek begins with a flight to Jumla, and a mountainous trek follows after that, where one would pass many villages untouched by all the hassle in the world and finally reaching the banks of the Rara Lake.

10. Gosainkunda
Situated inside the Nepal’s Langtang National Park and located at an altitude of 4,380 in the Rasuwa district, Gosaikunda is an adventure travel destination that has been delineated as a religious site according to Hindu mythology. It is basically an alpine freshwater oligotrophic lake surrounded by spectacular mountainous view and is a significant place of interest in the Dhunche-Helambu trekking route. This trek adjoins the Langtang valley trek in the same district and the two treks can be combined.

9. Langtang National Park
The different zones of the Langtang National Park range from oak and pine woods through sub-Alpine juniper, larches and birch to Alpine bushes, scree slopes and snow. Animals establish here include pandas, muntjaks, musk, Himalayan bears, serows and monkeys

7. Mustang
Mustang is a quite forlorn and alien place compared to others, that’s why it is very enjoyable to explore the uniqueness it has to offer. Upper Mustang trekking can also be called a peek into the hidden world of Buddhist kingdom of Mustangand. Lifestyle and landscape are very alike to that in Tibet. Surrounded by rocks in all kinds of colors and bizarre formations, Mustang is mostly a barren landscape where the villages with their bright colored fields are like Oasis in the deserts. Mustang lies in the shadow of the Dhaulagiri region and is a complete desolate landscape. The culture of the people living there is one of the major attractions for tourists and visitors alike.

4. Pashupatinath Temple
The Pashupatinath Temple is a famous, sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Pashupatinath and is located on the banks of the Bagmati River 5 kilometres north-east of Kathmandu Valley in the eastern city of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.
It is the most sacred place for hindus throughout the yearIt was listed in the world heritage site in 1979. Annually, millions of local and global tourists visit the temple. Especially during shivaratri(a hindu festival) hindus from neighbouring countries and other parts of the world flock to the Pashupatinath temple to celebrate the occasion.

3. Annapurna Base Camp(ABC)
Annapurna Base Camp trek is one of the best and popular treks in the Nepal. It combines so many different landscapes and perhaps is the only trek which brings you closer to the base of 7,000-8,000 m high peaks in such a short duration of time.
Trekking in ABC lasts 7 to 11 days long, depending on the trekker’s itinerary and the length of walking days. ABC can be trekked almost any time of the year; however in the winters the base camp is sometimes closed due to the level of snow; according to experts’ springtime is certainly the most appealing time to visit ABC due to the full bloom of the rhododendron forests which gives the trek a truly majestic feel.


2. Lumbini
Lumbini, listed as the birthplace of Lord Gautama Buddha by the UNESCO World Heritage Convention is another demanding tourist destination of Nepal. The Buddha was a sage on whose teachings Buddhism was founded. Lumbini is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the Rupandehi District of Nepal. According to Buddhist tradition, it is the place where Queen Mayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama in 623 BCE.
Lumbini is extraordinary for its calm and peace environment, undisturbed by major celebrations Only a few relics from the excavation site remain to bear witness to the importance of the town and these have come within the framework of the Lumbini Development Project. Lumbini has been nominated for inclusion on the UNESCO list of world cultural sites.

1. Everest Base Camp  
It is well known to everyone that the highest peak in the world, Mt. Everest lays in Nepal. It is a daunting and a very risky task- to mount the highest peak and be at the top of the world. The trekking around the base of Everest alone can be a very adventurous and enthralling experience.
Trekking usually takes 16 days starting with an exhilarating flight to Lukla, then a trek through lush rhododendron forest and stone walled traditional villages, to Namche Bazaar – the Sherpa Land, and all the way to the village of Phortse Gaon where one can witness magical peaks of the Everest, Nuptse and various other mountain ranges.The camp that lies at an altitude of 5,364 meters is a more of a rest point for the Everest climbers and they rest there for several days for acclimatization to reduce the risks of severity of altitude sickness; however it makes for an extravagant adventure tourism spot for any adventure enthusiasts.
